You have to know the program backwards and forwards to figure out what the indicators will be. Do you see how all the pieces of the LM start to come together? By choosing to collect data throughout you have the option of “tweaking” the program as it unfolds to make it better. Remember: this is not a scientific experiment that requires a controlled setting. Make sure your goal is achievable—look at past performance or find other benchmarks using research. Make sure you can articulate why you chose the goal—and didn’t just pick something out of the air.
