ABSTRACTShenzhen GEM has taken shape, whose function and status in our country capital market can not be ignored, particularly whose growth is widely concerned by the community. The growth of listed companies on the GEM is the ability which listed companies on the GEM excavate the potential resources of its own inside and outside, whose form of expression includes the scale expansion and structure optimization. Objective and comprehensive evaluation of the growth of listed companies on the GEM, not only is the need of self development of listed companies on the GEM, but also is the need of standardizing market order and preventing market risk of the government, and is the need of understanding the companys development status and potential of the company stakeholders, finally promotes continued and stable growth of the GEM and listed companies on the GEM.This paper uses normative analysis combined with empirical analysis method in the course of the study. Firstly, The study background and significance of this paper is elaborated, the study status at home and abroad is reviewed, and the study thought and innovation points are summarized; Secondly, this paper further summarizes the nature and characteristics of GEM, and characteristics of listed companies on the GEM are summarized with the method of empirical analysis; Thirdly, this paper defines the concept of growth of listed companies on the GEM, related theories of influence factors of enterprise growth are reviewed, and main influence factors of the growth of listed companies on the GEM are summarized with the method of normative analysis; Finally, this paper constructs a financial index system of growth evaluation of listed company, and evaluates growth of all 31 the information technology companies listed on Shenzhen GEM before 2011 with the method of factor analysis, and selects 31 most rearward by the code information technology companies which are listed on Shanghai A-share main board before 2011 and with eli
