The first period: (Dec.12th)   Teaching points: 1 Review: buy—bought go—went   is—was are—were    2 New words: happen—happened put—put fall off—fell offfallon—fellonthirsty hungry watermelon   3 Sentences:What happened to you?   Sam fell off his bike.Module9    I fell on the watermelon.   Teaching task: 1. Students could remember these verbs and their past tense.   2. Students could use these words make sentences.   Step 1: Warming-up    Play a game to review: T: go Ss: went    T: buy Ss: bought    T: see Ss: saw   Step 2: Presentation   1)T tell a story about a accident.(show the PPT and the cards)In summer , my friends went for a bike ride, They were thirty and hungry, so they bought a watermelon. Do you know? What happened? They put the watermelon on his bike. Then they fell off(跌落) his bike. And they fell on(摔到) the watermelon.   2)T teach Ss the new words. And find them on the book.   3)Tell the story again and invite some Ss to mime the actions.   Step 3: Listen and read   1) Listen to the cassette and point.   2) Listen and repeat .   Step5 EH: 1) M8U1 listen and read.   2)Tell one’s experience.
