ResearchondesignmethodandeffectevaluationofexhibitionspaceinCulturalComplexBuildingAbstractAsanemergingculturalandarchitecturalform,culturalcomplexbuildinghasgreatsignificanceforthedevelopmentofculturalundertaking.Exhibitionspacewhichactsanimportantroleinthespaceofculturalcomplexbuildinghasalwaysbeentheresearchhotspotinthefieldofarchitecture.Throughquestionnaireandbehaviorobservation,thispapercombinesculturalcomplexbuildingandexhibitionspacetoanalyzethevisitors’behaviorcharacteristicsandtheirevaluationoftheeffectofspaceexperienceinexhibitionspace.Besides,thedesignmethodofexhibitionspaceinculturalcomplexbuildingisalsodiscussedinit.Thispaperhasfourparts:thefirstpartappliesthemeaningofcultureasthestartingpointandgraspstheconnotationofculturalcomplexbuildingfromtheaspectssuchascontents,combinationmode,characteristicsandconstituentelements.Thenitproposesthescientificconceptofculturalcomplexbuilding.Inaddition,italsofindsouttheconnotationofexhibitionspacefromitsdevelopmenthistory,characteristicsandelementsofexhibitionspacewillbeusedtograspitsconnotation.Inthesecondpart,themethodofbehaviorobservationisusedtoconductquantitativeresearchofvisitorscharacteristicsofactivitiesinexhibitionspaceofculturalcomplexbuilding;thenitanalyzestheconnectionbetweenbehaviorandplacesandprovidessuggestionsintheaspectofdesign.Inthethirdpart,questionnaireisappliedtoevaluatepeople’sexperienceeffectinexhibitionspace;thispartexploreswhichfactorscouldinfluencethesubjectiveevaluation.Basedonpreviousresearch,thefourthpartproposedsuggestionsaboutexhibitionspacedesignofculturalcomplexbulidingfromtwoaspects:designmethodanddesignstrategy.Throughtheresearchoftheseparts,thispapercombinesthecharacteristicsofdifferenttypesofexhibitionspaces,andanalyzestherelationshipbetweenvisitors’needsandexhibitionspacefromtheperspectiveofbehaviorpsychology.Itprovidesfurtherresearchofthistypeofspacewithusefuldata,andhascertainsignificancesforthedesignofexhibitionspaceinculturalcomplexbuilding.Keywords:culturalcomplex；exhibit
