Abstract
As the petrochemical industry, military industry and the rapid development of ocean development, the stainless steel which meet the functional requirements of various special features of have been emerging. A new study shows that amount of rare earth element added to stainless steel can significantly improve performance.
The study is add rare earth elements Ce to 2Cr13 stainless steel,then to discuss how rare earth elements Ce have an influence on structure and corrosion resistance of 2Cr13 stainless steel. By observing the microstructure, studying the rare earth elements Ce on the impact of 2Cr13 Stainless Steel. Through the cycle of immersion test, detection of the corrosion potential, impedance and polarization curve measurement and analysis, to study of rare earth elements Ce on corrosion resistance of 2Cr13 stainless steel. Taking a colon bacillus culture on the surface of 2Cr13 stainless steel,and then recording the growth conditions of colon bacillus on the surface of stainless steel to know for sure its antimicrobial.
Through experiments and analysis, the result shows that using method of adding Fe-Ce alloy can control the rare earth in stainless steel residues. Rare earth element Ce can significantly improve the organization of 2Cr13 stainless steel, with the increase of RE content,structure significantly refinement and inclusions in steel reduce obviously. Adding rare earth elements Ce can improve the 2Cr13 chemical corrosion of stainless steel,at the same time, reduceing the corrosion rate of 2Cr13 stainless steel significantly. With prolonged immersion of samples,the corrosion rate of samples first increased and then decreased.This is because the surface
