全身反应法(TPR)在儿童英语教学中的应用研究 摘要: 全身反应法是美国著名的心理学教授James Asher在上个世纪60年代提出来的,被用来教授各种外语的方法。这种HYPERLINK javascript:;方法倡导把HYPERLINK javascript:;语言HYPERLINK javascript:;和行为联系在一起,通过身体动作教授外语。让听力理解达到一定量的积累,儿童就会理解该语言的运行规律,从而促进听力技能向说和写的转化。 本论文在探索了全身反应策略的相关理论后,在调查儿童全身反应教学策略的运用情况时发现:虽然大部分被调查的教师在运用全身反应法,但是都不深入和系统。 结合调查结果,通过对24名儿童进行控制组和实验组的分组实验,证明了全身反应教学法能实现对语言的快速理解;无压力学习;保持高回忆率。全身反应法作为一种有效的教学方法应该被大力推广,所以需要对老师加强职业培训。此外,政府应该采取措施创造更好的英语教学条件,例如,提供更大、更有英语氛围的教室。 关键词:全身反应法 儿童英语教学 小学英语教育 A STUDY ON THE APPLICATION OF TPR TO TEACHING CHILDREN ENGLISH ABSTRACT The total physical response method was originated by James Asher,the prominent psychology professor.It is used to teach various kinds of foreign languages.This method suggests that we should connect language with behavior, teaching a foreign language through body languages.When learners have been exposed to extensive listening for a given time,they will get the cognitive map of the language and that will enhance her desire to talk,read or write,skills which will be transferred from listening massively. After exploring the theories related to total physical response,the following findings have been located:The total physical response method is being used by most of the subjects but not in a thorough or systematical way. According to the result of the investigation,an experiment with 24 pupils was conducted.through analyses of the collected date,The total physical response method can gain rapid understanding,be stress-free and especially maintain high retrieval of language.Total physical response,as an effective teaching strategy,should be promoted in primary school English education,and thus the professional development of the teachers should be fortified.In addition,the government should take actions to create better English education conditions,such as more spacious classrooms,full of English.
