II II Abstract With the development of economic global and project management, the relationship among several parts becomes more and more complex. There are more subcontracting projects, project subcontracting is the certain trend because of the development of marketing and enterprise. The management of subcontractor become more and more important. Management of subcontracting projects is one important part of the project management, it becomes more and more important in project management. Scientific, standard and regular management process is essential to the improvement of efficiency of management work and optimization of the project management system, so as to attain the objective of the project effectively. This paper begins with the subcontracting project management, analyses the characteristics of the project management in detail, and discusses the problems of the subcontracting project management and the trend of the development; and then introduces the business process, the characteristics of process management and the knowledge of the method which can optimize process; finally analyses and optimizes the management process of the subcontracting project with the practice of the underground continuous wall project in the changjiang tunnel. This paper analyses the actual management of the subcontracting project roundly, brings forward the idea that using process management method to manage the subcontracting project, analyses the subcontracting project management using the theory of the process management, makes sure the target of the organization and ascertains the input、output and the man who answer for the target by analyzing what custom need, pays attention to integrate theory to practice, works out a process management that applicability is better and standard degree is high. I hope this paper can provide the theoretical base for the research and application of management process in subcontracting project. Key words: subcontracting project, project manage
