II II Abstract In this study, mycelia of Auricularia polytricha growth with a view to identifying the mother of culture and liquid culture conditions suitable for cultivation. The results can be summarized as follows. The mother culture of Auricularia polytricha in PDA medium was excellent, a 24-hour average growth rate of 6.27mm in the growth medium followed by PGA, the average growth rate of 5.21mm. Starch medium in the slowest growing, with an average growth rate of only 1.03mm. Different light effects of mycelial growth under the conditions of the weak by the strong order of the dark green Since light red yellow. so light on the mycelial growth with a certain extent, the strongest inhibition to yellow. Followed by red light. The optimal fermentation medium for submerge-cultured Auricularia polytricha were studied in this paper.The results showed that the optimal fermentation medium was composed of glucose 3%, bran 10%,MgSO4·7H2O 0.02%,KH2PO4 0.1%; the optimal culture conditions were pH5.0～7.0,temperature 26～29℃, inoculation rate 10%, medium capacity 65mL, culture time 4d. The fastest growth of its mycelium is 3.5mm/d.and mycelial growth potential is
