华 华 中 科 技 大 学 硕 士 学 位 论 文 II II Abstract The study of perfectionism is one of hot research issues in counseling psychology and clinical psychology in the 1990s. Perfectionism as a personality trait and thinking mode, is the interactive result of college students and external environment for a long time, and one kind of relatively stable characteristic that an individual showed in different situation. School adjustment is an important part of social adjustment of juvenile, thus, it plays a vital role of the education and training of university to study school adjustment of college students. The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationships with perfectionism and self-efficacy, school adjustment of college students. By using “Chinese Frost Multidimensional Perferctionism Scale”, “General Self-efficacy Scale” and “College Students’ School Adjustment Questionnaire”, we analysis survey data by T-test, One-Way ANOVA analysis, Correlation analysis, Multiple Regression analsis and ect. The research shows as follows: There is significant relationship with perfectionism and self-efficacy, school adjustment. Perfectionism affected self-efficacy and school adjustment directly. At the same time, perfectionism also impacted self-efficacy through organization and personal standards. Organization, doubt about actions and concern over making mistakes impacted school adjustment indirectly. Different levels of perfectionism and self-efficacy have different affections to school adjustment. Perfectionists who have high self-efficacy adjust well. Then, next is the high self-efficacy with low perfectionism. But there is no significant difference between them. Together with high self-efficacy, the middle level perfectionists impact school adjustment more positively. The worst is the students who have low self-efficacy but high perfectionism.
