Yaojie Wang Signature: Abstract Molecular medical imaging could make an accurate diagnosis of cancer at an early stage,and even could not yet appeared before the morphological changes of the body to make an accurate diagnosis of the disease. If the common molecular imaging technologies could integration such as CT, SPECT, PET and so on. They would be innovative fusion in the same system. At the same time researched and developed related molecular image acquisition, processing and digital management software system. This paper designed the optical fiber communication system of multimodal molecular imaging equipment. The system used Xilinx companys the newest 7 series FPGA as the control chip for circuit. Realize the high speed real-time communication between computer and PET and SPECT equipment. This paper completed the circuit design and PCB board production of optical fiber communication system. Because the optical fiber communication is the high speed communication circuit board, in order to ensure the normal work of the circuit board. Design used Hyperlynx software for signal integrity simulation and used VHDL to achieve the FPGA internal hardware circuit design and circuit simulation. Finally in the experiment platform were tested. Test results can be normal communication. The communication rate could reach 1.25Gbps. The paper provided a practical reference for the future production of commercial products.
