Abstract
Steel-concrete composite beam (hereafter composite beam for short) is a new type of beam structure, which is developed from steel structure and concrete structure. It usually connects the steel beam and reinforced concrete board together through shear connector and to resist bend together. Two kinds of materials are combined together
according to the form of composite beam, can avoid the corresponding shortcoming,give
full play to the advantages of two kinds of materials, and form a structure with high load-bearing capacity, great rigidity、with good ductility. Our country has studied and used composite beam in field of traffic、metallurgy、electric power, colliery since the fifties of
the 20th century, and have made a series of achievements with important theory meaning and practical value. But all study and application of composite beam only in simply supported beam and continuous beam, research on composite frame beam is still lack at present.
Considering the large hogging moment at the end of frame beam and low tensile strength of concrete, a new composite steel-concrete frame beam (CSCFB), reinforced by a T shape steel beam at the hogging moment regions, was brought forward. Compared with the full-scale of single-layer CSCFB frame models experiment, the result by FEA has been make sure, and the load-displacement curves of CSCFB and strain distribution at CROSS section were obtained. Compared with the ordinary composite beam, the T shape reinforcing section can enhance the beam stiffness effectively, and make it distribute reasonably. Study the impact of gravity by redistribution of stress, and obtains the optimum scheme between the length of T shape steel beam and the number of the nails.
