THE SIZE EFFECT EXPERIMENT RESEARCH OF THE COMPRESSIVE PERFORMANCE OF STEEL FIBER REINFORCED CONCRETE
ABSTRACT
Cement concrete as a kind of typical quasi brittle materials, its compressive performance has obvious size effect phenomenon. Size effect refers to the compressive strength of concrete is not only related to the mixture ratio, strength grade, and also closely related to the geometry of the specimens.At present, the design of concrete structures is still based on the small size specimen design concept, design method and calculation formula. With the deepening of the research and application of steel fiber reinforced concrete, the research of the size effect on the compressive properties of steel fiber reinforced concrete is necessary. In order to be able to accurately describe the differences of steel fiber reinforced concrete specimen compressive performance under different specimen sizes circumstances , in this paper , an experimental study mainly about the following three aspects the steel fiber reinforced concrete cube compressive strength performance, prism axial compressive performance and the elastic modulus influence has carried out experimental study. The main research content is as follows:
Cube compressive strength of steel fiber reinforced concrete
In order to obtain the cube compressive strength of steel fiber reinforced concrete size effects, the design of three different size of cube specimens, the specimen is respectively 100 mm, length 150 mm and 150 mm.Each type of specimen containing the C30 and C60 two strength grade;each strength grade contains 0,0.75%, 1.5% three different steel fiber volume ratio;Curing 28 d.Each specification specimens fabricating 2 groups, each group of three specimens, out of 108 cube specimens.
