ABSTRACT
The application of thin plate glass is becoming more and more widely, most common in our daily life, video products such as smartphones, tablets, which has been experiencing an explosive growth in recent years. More and more people are enjoying entertaining, portability from the products. At the same time, the security and reliability of the video products have become more and more important. Glass is brittle material; in the event of accidents it may bring an immeasurable consequence. The equipment manufacturer is bound to put the product safety on the most important position.
To improve the strength of the glass, the main method is toughened glass. People tempered the glass by the physical and chemical way.For the ultra-thin glass and high flatness requirement areas, chemical tempering is a better choice. Chemical tempering is also called the ion exchange method, its basic principle is through the larger diameter alkali metal ions in the salt bath exchanging with the smaller alkaline metal ion on the glass surface, due to the glass surface is filed by larger diameter ion, the glass surface will form a compressive stress which parallel to the glass surface. When the external force wants to destroy the glass surface, it have to offset this layer surface compressive stress.So the larger compressive stress the glass have, the higher compressive strength and the flexural performance. However if you want to know the size of the compressive stress, we have to measure them by the equipment.
In this dissertation, the principle of glass stress measurement is firstly elaborates, and he advantages and disadvantages of various measurement methods are discussed t. then we put emphasis up on FSM series stress measuring instrument, including the structure, calculation method, etc. This topic based on FSM accurate measurement of the measuring device, after repeated verification and data analysis, we got the
