From ancient times to the present, the development of Jiaozhou Bay and Qingdao are closely related, each production and life are very closely to Jiaozhou Bay area ,such as shipping, tourism, scientific research, military, marine exploitation. She gave birth to the working people living along the about 7500000 hardworking, is the mother of Qingdao bay. With the successful of hosting the Olympic Sailing Competition, Jiaozhou Bay coastal tourism economic development vitality has improved. With “mountain, sea, city, culture, business” Jiaozhou Bay coastal tourism resources organically, accumulated the rich coastal tourism resources. However, space layout between coastal tourism development is heavy, due to over exploitation of tourist resources, tourist and sustained growth of highly concentrated, and the coastal ecological environment is relatively fragile, coastal tourism environment pressure increases. In this paper, resource development and protection of Jiaozhou Bay coastal tourism are discussed, the control location conditions and marine functional zoning of Jiaozhou Bay coastal, analyzes the present situation of Jiaozhou Bay Development and protection of coastal tourism resources using the SWOT method, points out the problems existing in Jiaozhou Bay coastal tourism in the process of development and utilization the countermeasures, and with a positive attitude and rational development of the vision of the coastal tourism development of the Jiaozhou Bay ring.
