The The comparative analysis on seismic calculation methods of the steel frame structure Author:Yu Ying-jie Major:Architecture and civil engineering Supervisor:Wang Sen-lin Abstract Wi廿l the improvement of the people’S living needs and the trend of the building energy conservation and environment protection,the steel structure building has a rapid rise under the advantages of the strucure,economic and environmental performance and a broad prospect for development.As a new type of green housing system,the steel structure plays a more and more important role in modem architecture field.Although the steel structure has some advantages,the research on seismic performance still needs to be perfected.In this paper,through the comparative analysis of the three calculation methods of steel frame structure under the horizontal earthquake,some useful conclusions are drawn which can provide references for the engineering design.First of all,the author establishes three steel frame models of different height with the help of the finite element analysis software SAP2000 in the paper and uses the equivalent base shear method,the formation of the response spectrum method and the time history analysis method to perform elastic seismic analysis.Then draws the corresponding conclusion by comparing the relevant data such as the interlayer shear force,the interlayer displacement and the top node displacement.Futhermore,the author applies EPDA and SAP2000 to perform the elastic-plastic time history analysis of the highest steel frame model in the fourth chapter.And then compares similarities and differences of the results by the maximum base shear,the interlayer shear and the interlayer displacement angle between different soflwares,and It provides some opinions for the future design work at last. Based on the data,the results show that:(1)In the low rise buildings,the equivalent base shear method is not only simple but also the results of practical value compared with the other two me
