Neighbourhood Renewal Programmes Neighbourhood Management working with local agencies to improve and link their services at a local neighbourhood level Neighbourhood Wardens providing a highly visible,uniformed, semi-official presence in residential and public areas, town centres and high-crime areas Neighbourhood Renewal Programmes Skills and Knowledge programme offering practical support to those at the front-line delivering neighbourhood renewal National Strategy for Neighbourhood Renewal Reversing years of decline requires long-term investment and new ways of working. The Spending Review set out a major boost of public spending, including an extra ￡11 billion for education and training and ￡12 billion for the NHS over the next three years. For the first time, UK Government have set targets not just for the national average, but for outcomes in deprived areas, which will ensure that a fair share of these budget increases goes to deprived areas. National Strategy for Neighbourhood Renewal To narrow the gap between outcomes in deprived areas and the rest.
