THE DESIGN OF MULTIPLE LIGHTING TESTING SYSTEM BASED ON W77E58 ABSTRACT With the prompt development of the productivity, the lighting industry will meet the high challenge of volume-producing and quality, so the testing task becomes more and more important to all the factories and vendors. In the current situation, the local mature measurement instrument doesn’t come to use in high quantity, most big manufactures purchase alien instrument and facilities while local ones still use manual measurement methods. But both will cost a lot in money or labor. The purpose of the project is to develop one instrument in the lighting testing system which catches the lighting signal in high efficiency and reliability, low cost and good expansibility. This system is based on the function of W77E58 Ultra SCM. The main testing structure is: lighting measurement circuit, signal acquisition system, SCM, PC interface control unit. The main hardware is consisted with lighting measurement circuit, signal acquisition circuit, SCM circuit. The method of programming is “Top to down”. The whole program is divided into several section according to different function, then divide the section into much detailed sub-section. Finally the whole structure looks like a tree and the bottom section could not be disassemble. The merits are the way is: with fully consideration, clear structure and level, easy amendment. The multiple testing system is the base of sampling measurement in high volume production and finish the measurement task with high quantity. It won’t cost much maintenance capability because of its module structure and flexible function. The whole system is controlled by PC, furthermore, one PC can control several different 128 channel testing system, which provide the potential for upgrading.
