Abstract The distributed interactive simulation have developed rapidly and applied avidly. These applications have become complex gradually and the number of federates have become bigger.But the correctness interoperability of the Federate is the prerequisite for the right to decide the success of development of the simulation system.So, its necessary for us to develop specialized interoperability testing tools to enable the management to effectively test the Federates. First, expatiate the dissertation’s background, purposes and significance, analysis of the current research status on interoperability and interoperability testing tools, gave a briefing on HLA (High Level Architecture) standards, and give the main content of this paper. Second, study the basis theory of simulation interoperability, sum up commonly used tests in the development of the Federation, define the main elements in the simulation interoperability testing , determine the simulation interoperability testing methods and forms, and aimed at the demand which proposed to carry on the simulation interoperability testing tool to design in detail and to realize in final. Then, considered the distributional interactive simulation scale the day-by- day expansion, the federares distributed scope is also getting broader, this paper proposed uses the WEB technology development WEB-based remote testing systems thought. And is studying the WEB technology and in massively finally the related knowledge foundation, has realized the simulation interoperability testing tool expansion to a WEB-basd application, developed a WEB-based interoperability test system. Then, the applications of simulation interoperability testing tool and WEB- based interoperability test tool in the simulation system are designed. The comprehensive test is completed according to functionality and reliability. Finally, the conclusion of the sduty and the research orientation are given out.
