Abstract With the rapid development of the virtual reality technology and computer network technology, under the big background of that the digital earth, digital city have been accepted extensively by people, the virtual campus has become a hot field of the research, development and application of computer software. The virtual campus is an important application of virtual reality technology in the field of modern education, which is on the campus of the University of digitalization and virtualization, which can optimize the campus daily management. It play an important role in auxiliary campus planning construction, strengthen the decision support, the development of the school and other aspects. In a virtual campus system, humanized human-computer interaction design can make users receive lots of useful information. By the way，it can improve system availability and user-friendly. The system displays the virtual campus, and supplies a virtual human can be controlled by users, which makes users understand campus as real as possible. In order to let users have better online interactive experience when they browse through the virtual campus，it puts forward and realized several main interactive function in the system，such as the interactive designs about the control of human and his view, the linking among different scene, the linking of information, the tips and the virtual objects. This system also adopts multi-scene design methods and uses VSL（Virtools Scripting Language）to design more complex interactive function. Finally, to use the webpage making software, Dreamweaver in combination with webpage making technical, Javascript to release the virtual campus system of school of software engineering. These methods can enhance the program reusability and maintainability; reduce the system memory space occupied and improve the operation speed; implement some senior function what using Virtools built-in BB（Building Blocks） cannot achieve.
