Fiber-Reinforeed Polymer(FRP)bar iS a new kind ofcomposite material composed of fiber and resin.FRP bars have received significant attentions for in civil infrastructure due to镪eir unique properties.such as high strength·to-weight ratio and stiffness-to-weight ratio.corrosion
resistance and durabil海.FRP bars have been studied and applied to improve the durabil姆醴
concrete Structures in Europe,North America and Japan in recent years.The fire resistance ofFRP bars iS weaker than that of the steel reinforcement,and there is little research on it.in this paper,
experimental studies are carried OUt on fire resistance hehavior of GFRP reinforeed concrete
structures to assure their safety,and some design suggestions are proposed, The following work has been done{n this p婶er:
1,Experimental studies are carried out on 100(279roup)GFRP bars under axial load in high temperature。The aim of the test is论investigate the characteristic of GFRP bars in fire。The tensile strength of GFRP bars is obtained in fire and after fire.And the result can be used in fire resistance design ofGFRP reinforced concrete structures.
2.Based on the bond test for 120(34 group)specimens in hi曲temperature,the bond strength between GFRP bars and concrete is obtained in fire and after fire.And the anchorage length requirement is proposed in this paper.
3.Experimental studies are carried out on 72(219roup)prestressing GFRP bars in higll temperature,and the thermal creep strain rate is obtained in test.The result can be used to calculate the prestressing force loss ofprestressing GFRP reinforced concrete structures in fire.
4t Based on the temperature field ofconcrete in fire,some design suggestions are proposed
on fire resistance ofGFRP reinforeed concrete structures.
