IIIAbstract III Abstract Field programmable gate array(FPGA)which has its programming function provides users with a specific circuit，SO that FPGA is especially suitable for the development of new small—batch production of ASIC circuits．In recent years，FPGA has the rapid development，but the FPGA chips used by domestic manufacturers are still primarily imported from abroad，this situation puts great pressure on the domestic manufacturers by product’S cost．And at the same time the security considerations of the national information are an important factor．So that to develop independent domestic FPGA will become all inevitable trend． Based on the above situation and the huge domestic market demands，in recent years，The 58th Research Institute of China Electronic Technology Group carried out a special project on FPGA，this paper is a special part of the 58th Research Institute’S project．This Paper deals with FPGA design technology and specific device design． Research work focuses on circuit design and simulation study of a 6000 effective gate FPGA based 011 CSMC 0．5-脚[11 standard CMOS process． The basic structure of the programmable logic device，the process’S development of the programmable logic device and its classification,programmable read—only memory,field programmable logic array,programmable array logic，common logic arrays and complex PLD，and other characteristics of the basic structure of FPGA are introduced and discussed firstly in this paper,and then the basic structure and classification and its programming technology of FPGA are discussed in detail．In order to accordance with domestic actual situation and technology level，the basic structure of target FPGA and its programming technology are determined，and then the CSMC 0．5·lxm standard CMOS process is selected．The basic structure of a special FPGAs programmable logic elements is designed，the function generator consisting of NMOS and CMOS transfer logic，rapid carry chain and flip—flop circuits are designed and s
