AB AB STRACT Stimulus responsiveness refers to the great change of physical and/or chemical properties of the system caused by small external environment change,which is also known弱smart environmental responsiveness.Stimuli—responsive materials have widely been used in drug delivery,sensing,coating,and catalysis.To date,pH,temperature,light,redox agent,and C02 have been used external stimuli.Among these stimulis,C02 is cheaper,abundant,non—toxic and non-flammable.Additionally,it be easily removed by N2 air bubbl.mg.Thus,C02-responsive materials have attracted widespread attention. Because of its unique properties,ionic liquids have been used in organic synthesis,extraction, separation,material preparation,biomass processing and other fields.The chemical structure and properties of ionic liquids be designed for task-specific applications,which allows us to design and synthesize functionalized ionic liquids.The bonding C02.responsive groups onto cations and anions of the ionic liquids may produce new materials.In this work,we design and synthesize three class of long-chain ionic liquids in which the anions C02.responsive,and the self-assembly behavior of these ionic liquids in aqueous solution and its regulation WaS studied.The main content is follows. 2 1.Ionic liquids composed of N-methyl-N-alkyl monoethanolamine cation[CnMMEA]+(n 10,12,14,16)and taurine anion(【1a】。)were designed and synthesized.The self-aSsembly behavior ofthese ionic liquids in aqueous solution was studied by conductance,DLS,SAXS,and Cryo-TEM-We found that in aqueous solutions,self-assembly structure of the ionic liquids be switched between spherical micelles and vesicles by alternatively bubbliI培C02 and N2.A possible transform mechanism WaS investigated by 13C NMR spectroscopy.Furthermore,these ionic liquids systems have been successfully applied to the processes for the formation/destabilization of oil/water emulsions and coagulation/redispersion of emulsion polymerization. 2.Ionic liquids
