* * * The contents of this course can be divided into tow broad categories, (1) Discrete-time signals (2) Discrete-time system * You can learn a lot by writing program to solve a problem. * I am not sure about the difficulty of the projects. Maybe it is a little hard for unders, they are modest for graduate students. You must do the homework problems on your own. Of course you may ask for help and advice from classmates, but the final work that you turn in and all the words used to describe it must be your own.  Some of the homework assignments need you to design some method which none of us is likely to have actual knowledge. You may need to find the approach by searching and reading a lot of literatures. Your reports does not need to be a perfect answer to the problem, but it must show that you have thought through the problem and explain how you design the method and arrive the results. Note that many of the questions in the homeworks ask you to design some method or to estimate something for which none of us is likely to have actual knowledge.
