Ability aims: ① Students are trained to improve their reading ability and grasp some reading skills, such as skimming, scanning and intensive reading. ② Students will be able to summarize the main idea of the whole passage and find out the topic sentence of each paragraph. ③ Students will be able to grasp the specific information of the reading passage. Emotional aims: ① Students are encouraged to be more interested in English learning. ② Students will be able to cultivate a sense of cooperation by the discussion and group work.
