Teaching steps: Step 1 Warming-up and revision Fill in the blanks to revise the new words in Unit6. Check and show the answers. Review the present tense and the present progressive tense, get the student to try to find out the differences between them. Show some pictures ,ask and answer to practice the sentences: What ’s he/ she doing?-He is running / She is reading ... What are they doing?-The are having class ... Step 2 Practice 3a 1. Lets look at Jims family photo and read his letter to Bob.
