Abstract:Therm otog a m aritmi a M S8 is strictly n erobic nd extrem ely therm ophilic. The rod-sh ped cells re surroun-
ded w ith she th like structure b lloon ing over the ends of the rods. In contr st to the pp lic tion of centrifug tion lm em-
br ne filter or d i lysis, the m ethod of sucrose isopycnic gr d ient centrifug tion w s m ore su it b le. Through the n lysis
of th in-l yer chrom togr phy, she th w s com posed of proteins, lipids nd s cch ride. It resemb led the ch r cteriz tion
