It plays an important role in intercellular adhesion, and participates in the maintenance of the organizational structure. Research results have shown that the cell adhesion molecule has a very important role in tumor development, invasion and metastasis process, and has become one of the important topics in the re- search of tumor metastasis molecular mechanism. Previous studies suggested that E-cadherin is a tumor suppressor.
