Book 3, which is published by People’s Education Press. The teaching content is from Section B 4 to Self Check of Unit 3. First of all, one of the biggest characteristics of the teaching material is the student-centered teaching philosophy, and the teaching design of each unit will use the task-based language teaching method. As we all know, the contents of this book include much language knowledge, such as present simple, present continuous tense in the future, the general future tense, the past tense, the past, the comparative and superlative degree of adjectives and adverbs, verb infinitive and the usage of modal verbs and so on. Secondly, the teaching material based on the new life, further strengthen the self learning, to improve the skills of listening speaking, reading and writing. The focus of this lesson is about ads and the consolidation of comparative degree of adjective. Therefore, this unit works as a transition effect. What’s more, it lays the foundation for the learning of the superlative degree of adjective in the following units.
