The theoretical foundation was deducted for the application of air-sparged hydrocyclone in the bauxite reverse flotation. The flotation tests of air-sparged hydrocyclone aiming at a bauxite from Henan province were studied. The results show that a diaspore concentrate directly used in the Bayer-mineral processing method can be obtained by optimizing the parameters of the hydrocyclone without pre-desliming.
