Unit 2 Neighbors Integrated skills 教案 Teaching aims: Read and spell different jobs; Match different jobs with the working places correctly; Get information about Wendy’s family members through listening; Talk about their future jobs and the reason why in simple ways; Interview people to get information; Have an active opinion on jobs. Focus of the lesson and predicted area of difficulty: To match the jobs with the working places; When to use a and when to use an before a job; To use ‘be going to’ to express future jobs. Teaching procedures: Step 1 Lead in: Ask students to talk about different jobs and learn some English expressions of jobs. ---What is his job?/ What does he do? ---He is a policeman./a postman./an office worker. ---Where does he work? ---He works in a police station./post office./company..... Have the students read after the teacher. Complete Part A1. Step 2 Activity Game time: Pick a student to pantomime, and the others write down the answers. Then let’s see who can write the most correct ones. Invite the students to the front. Show him the pictures and let him act out without saying a word.
