Ab Abstract Title:Research on Control Methods of Fiber Drawing Machine Major:Precision Instruments and Machinery Name:Kai GUO Signature: Supervisor: Associate Pro. Weidong QIAO Signature: Abstract Drawing machine is the equipment in optical fiber producing. Fiber tensile servo motor control has an important effect on the consistency of the diameter of the fiber. In order to obtain satisfactory control results, the thesis designed neural network PID control system based on single chip. This thesis describes the control algorithm of drawing machine, PC platform, the next crew hardware design and experimental methods. In the control algorithm, a neural network control for drawing machine PID algorithm with MATLAB neural network is designed. ADμC831 chip is the core of hardware circuit, with a serial communication module, reset circuit module, a parallel port expansion module. Software system includes drawing machine control programming, and the PC interface is designed with Kingviews. Software control program mainly includes: PID neural network control algorithm, AD converter, serial communications, and motor control programming. PC control interface is designed mainly with the control interface and the parameters set by the sub- interface. Thesis describes the various parts of the system design ideas, implementation. After testing each module and analyzing the results, we obtained drawing machine to meet the site requirements for process indicators. In the application process, the operators simply want to experience as a sample input neural network model train network parameters, the parameters used in on- line control of the network by entering the amount of feedback calculate the amount of the corresponding output. The system is effective in reducing the impact of uncertainty on the drawing process, with good usability and promotional value.
