However, there is a little study in climate division and conditions of getting through winter safely, at present the criteria based on the science, in certain blindfold. especially at the frozen disaster in 2008, lots of Jatropha were lossed. therefore, the climate adaptability is must to be research.
In this paper, Jatropha phenology, growth, production in Qian xinan canton is observed and Jatropha physicochemical nature is analyzed . Combined resources survey information, utilized mathematical statistics such as correlation analysis, regression analysis and cluster analysis and analyzed the factors afffected Jatropha growth, output and impact formed, the Jatropha adaptability and cultivation.climate division based on the GIS is achieved.
The result is the more resistant to drought Jatropha the trees, like the hot habitat, the light, the trees grow more great, and obtain more seeds, more seeds oil rate. heat is the most important factor to affect Jatropha geographical distribution , and is the key condition to affect seed oil rate, ultimately affect the quality. Jatropha is required to achieve the minimum temperature 12 ℃ in germination period, florescence act to achieve above the 15 ℃, a growth cycle. it requires at least 10 ℃ accumulated temperature 4250 ℃. d, moreover, extreme the lowest temperature is to determine the safety of their Jatropha the main targets.
