II II Abstract Based on the Bit-Ball displayed in the hall of the Guangdong science and technology center, this dissertation describes in detail of the important module of image process and image transmission concerned in the image acquisition on real-time of the program. The image acquisition module adopts a highly universal DirectShow frame. It uses camera to acquire visual data real-timely. And this data is transformed to the IPC through capture card and is saved so as to be process lately. The image process module mainly concerned face detection, the threshold segmentation of maximum two-dimensional entropy, non-integer multiple zoom and some reference technology. The image transmission module takes the final binary image data to the SCM. This method is based on the third category serial communication. The second chapter introduces face detection technology. It discusses the characteristics and shortcomings aspect of the face detection algorithm. Then, Guass color model based on YCbCr space adopted in the paper is researched and discussed in detail. The third chapter followed introduces adaptive threshold technology and overviews some classic threshold segmentation technology. As it is contracted, the maximum two-dimensional entropy method is selected for the final segmentation algorithm. The forth chapter describes the general frame designed in the whole exhibition program and membership of every module with its function in the software system. The fifth chapter introduces the detail design and realization of every module of the Bit-Ball software system. Flowcharts and test results are also given in the paper. Finally, the dissertation gives a conclusion to the subject. And it analyses some parts which are looking forward to be researched.
