Today, the fiber-optic gyro has been widely uded in the inertial systems of civil equipments and military tactical weapons, and the many research organizations of the world pay attention to the development of high precision navigational-grade FOG system applied in the areas of marine and aerospace. The fiber-optic gyro is an angle rate sensor, based on Sagnac generalized relativity effect. It shows the direction of inertia instrument and inertia component, which has lots of advantages such as whole solid state design, structure simple, fast reaction speed, strong impact resistance, and wide dynamic range. It has very important meaning for improving the navigation precision of the fiber-optic gyro to carry on mathematical statistics analysis of the fiber-optic gyro random errors, find out their statistics characteristic law and compensate the fiber optic gyro random errors with certain method . This paper uses Allan variance law to carry on characteristic analysis for noise sources which contains Quantization noise,Angle random walk,Bias instability,Rate random walk,Rate ramp. It is easy to identify the factors that influence the fiber-optic gyro to make preparation of restraining noise and filtering algorithm. In the process of wavelet threshold de-noising method simulation, different de-noising effectiveness corresponding to different wavelet basis, different vanishing moments, different decomposition levels, different threshold rescaling methods are analyzed. And so the author designs a proper wavelet de-noising program.From restraining the fiber-optic gyro random drift,filter is carried on to the fiber-optic gyro static output with the wavelet analytic method and the verification of filtering effect is given.
