万方数据 万方数据 ABSTRACT Coaches are key to the development of athletics and the levels of athletes.Experiences from other countries have showed us that only effective training of the coaches will bring hope to the advancement of China’s tennis. The methodology of this paper includes expert surveys, questionnaires, mathematical statistics, etc. This paper focused on coaches from domestic and foreign tennis associations, and experts from related areas, analyzing their training pattern. Conclusions through research are as follows: Each country has established specialized training agencies to set plans of training. Training situations differ from place to place. However their work is based on a regular basis in order to better regulate. Similarities among different countries are the major scientific theories, professional techniques, strategic theories and practice, the different focus points of training. Requirements for coaches of different countries are basically the same. Most divide coaches into three to five levels. China’s tennis coach training has a relatively short history and certain inadequacies exist. Members of CTA are from different backgrounds of occupations, education, and athletic levels. However the training methods and testing contents do not vary much from one another. Secondly, the time and form of the training ought to be more persistent and flexible. Thirdly, more teachers and professionals will be hired to lecture. Then according to the different levels, improve the methodology and emphasize more on the effectiveness. Lastly, make full use of the modern Internet technology to create a stage for communication between coaches and their instructors.
