Abstract
Human resource management is a new cross subject, which involves the knowledge of organizational behaviour, economics, mathematics, psychology, operational research and so on. With the development of the study and practice on human resource management, human resource manager become a strategic partner to the executive, not just a follower. It is important for an organization to have a right strategy, but the execution of the strategy is more important. The executive of the strategy is based on employee’s performance. So we say that the core of human resource management is to manage the performance. It is a big challenge for the human resource management to grasp a systematic performance management system, which is corresponding to the situation and the culture of the company. By this performance management system, the company can identify the employee’s capability, motivate employee’s potential and realize the strategy and the long-term business plan.
The objective of this thesis is a fast growing pharmaceutical factory sales corp. the author did a large amount of research, which helped the author subjectively grasp the current situation of the company. Concerning the deficiencies of Harbin General Pharmaceutical Factory Sales company’s present performance appraisal system, such as irregular PA system, too subjective appraisal and single appraisal method, the thesis puts forward that the enterprise should adopt various appraisal methods comprehensively to establish PA system abiding by the principle that is fairness, quantification, systematic nature, practicability, adaptability and the same importance of procedure and result. According to different administrative functions of different administrative levels, combining the content of the post and adopting various appraisal objects, appraisal purpose and appraisal methods, the thesis designs appropriate PA system.
