Awareness on Chinese Modern Women Art Abstract The author of the present thesis analyzes the characters and relevant awareness of Chinese modern women art from angle of sex. In the introductory part, the author of the thesis explains the reason and meaning of Chinese modern women art from angle of sex. The sociality of sex has great influence on human beings (including men and women); sex factors exist generally, which determines the unavoidable explanation of Chinese modern women art from angle of sex. Part one is devoted to the concept and range of Chinese modern women art. And the author of the thesis puts forward her challenge to the symbolization division of women art. In part two, combining her experience, the author of the thesis analyzes alternatively the characters of Chinese modern women art from angle of sex. These characters are: paying close attention to themselves; paying close attention to microcosm; and perceptual thinking way. Part three is reserved for the discussion of two main problems: women artists sex consciousness and evaluation to women art. During the process of producing works of art, women artists sex consciousnesses sometimes are conscious, and sometimes are unconscious. Conscious sex consciousness can also be divided into conscious avoidance, appropriate grasp and conscious conformability. Many women artists sex consciousness is unconscious, during the process of producing works of art, they regard themselves as individuals but not women. Critics misunderstandings of women art have its dual character, and men and women critics are all welcomed to join the criticism on women art. The last part is conclusion. In this part, the author of the present thesis expresses her best wishes to the bright future of women art.
