Now, financial company is the main way for china’s group company to implement CCM and CCM service is the core business of China’s financial company. As China entered WTO, oversea advanced capital management theories and practical experiences have followed multiple-banks into China. Financial company’s CCM businesses now are facing new chances and challenges. How to overcome financial company’s inherited shortcomings that caused by china’s financial policies and system’s limitations, to survive the competition, are realistic problems that China’s financial companies are facing. This paper selects Harbin Power Equipment Company Limited（HPEC） as a representative study case and studies its CCM service’s status and existing problems, analyses the causations of the problems and the problems’ influences and also delivers innovation proposals for HPEC’s CCM services. So this paper has made a tentative study for the future operation ways and developing strategies of China’s financial companies’ CCM services. This paper has four parts. The first part presents the purposes and senses of this paper and introduces China’s financial company’s history and the domestic and oversea study status for CCM. The second part analyses the circumstances of HPEC’s CCM services and its existing problems such as service scope limits, lacking synthesis management function, being short of settlement abilities and lacking oversea operation experiences. The third part analyses the macroscopic and microcosmic causations of the problems and their influences to HPEC’s cash management and to itself growth.
