Since entering WTO, a lot of construction companies abroad contract to construct building in our country, which has negative effect on national construction companies. Our building companies must reinforce project management, do better in control of schedule、investment、quality and security and make more profit if they want to continue building.At the same time, we have less electric power resources.Due to the advantage of electricity generation by thermal power in its short construction period, low cost, and quick effect, it has become the main type of the current electric source construction projects. Our construction companies should use the great opportunity by improving the ability of project management. This thesis focuses on the construction management of thermal power electricity generation based on expansive construction project of Haer Bin Electricity Generation Factory. Firstly, we review the background and application of advanced project management theory, discuss their problems and limits, and point out that it is necessary to improve the ability of project management. From the point of constructor view, we point out the measures of thermal power electricity generation based on project management experience of Harbin international power group. The thesis brings forward the model of alarm about schedule control in order to do better to controlling schedule. The author puts forward the model of evaluation in quality and controls investment by the theory of earned value. In a world, the thesis puts forward the measure of project management focused on thermal power electricity and based on our domestic actual circs.The thesis has perfect worthiness for our construction trade of electric power.
