With the rapid development of economy today, the non-performing loan ratio and the amount of non-performing loan in the bank have reached the best level in the history of the bank, both of the non-performing loan ratio and the amount of the non-performing loan decrease. However, accompanying the development of the financial market, financial crisis comes like a ghost to reflect the vulnerability of the financial system. As pressure of th e internal and external non-performing loans increases, it has badly affected the healthy development of the bank. Harbin Bank is a city commercial bank which has finished successfully the transformation from its crossing area business to a national share holding commercial bank. The Bank has learned the restructuring experience in non-performing loan management from those state-owned commercial banks. After restructuring, peeling and transferring, the bank has developed rapidly in recent years and has successfully got rid of the burden of non-performing loans. Based on a large number of practice and research, from the angle of the management of non-performing loan of the bank, combined with the characteristics of information system of the commercial bank, this thesis summarizes the problem and the opportunity Harbin Bank is now facing, presents the solution to protect the asset system by analyzing the research of work process on domestic bank asset preservation, and realizes the normalization and standardization of asset protection. Simultaneous, the thesis gives the suggestions and advices on the development of non-performing loan management of the bank to make the bank develop in a healthy and orderly way, and guarantee effectively the business feature of petty loan in Harbin Bank.
