PAGE PAGE VI Abstract Since Chang and Davision first presented the problems of singular large-scale decentralized control systems and the concepts of generalized decentralized fixed modes and impulsive decentralized fixed modes in 1986, singular large-scale control systems has been aroused great interest of many people all over the world, many engineers and professors pay more attention to it. The schools and scientific institutions had make a deep research on it, and get a series of theory achievements. Such as: Wang Chao-zhu and Wang En-ping studied the fixed modes of the singular large-scale control systems according to the all closed-loop regular isolated subsystems, then gave us the equivalence definition of the fixed modes and related arithmetics. Wen Xiang-cai studied the stabilization of a type of singular large-scale uncertain systems with nonlinear interconnected structures, and designed the decentralized variable structure control and totally decentralized variable structure control for the singular large-scale uncertain systems. Zhang Qing-ling studied the robust stability and decentralized stabilization of singular large-scale systems by using Lyapunov method, static decentralized output feedback and dynamic decentralized compensation. The problem of singular large-scale control systems, specially, the stabilization of singular large-scale control systems, will be a popular trend of control systems in future. Although there is less research results on it, the singular large-scale control systems are concerned with not only stability but also their regularity and inpulse-free behaviors, the research of stability of singular large-scale control systems are much more complicated than those of regular systems. In this dissertation,a detailed analysis of the current situation of study on the stability of singular large-scale conrtol systems is studied and the stability of singular large-scale control systems is scientific researched.the main results in th
