Study on treatment measures and calculation methods of residual strongly weathered rock stratum under arch dam foundation

Abstract: the improper dam foundation will lead to cracking of arch dam body. This paper takes Chongqing city xiajiankou arch dam foundation of residual weathered rock caused by the dam body cracking as an example, using three-dimensional nonlinear finite element method, analysis of two kinds of measures of the dam foundation, and the base load times than amplification method and strong drop analysis method after processing foundation emergencycapacity calculation. The scientific rationality of the measures is proved. It not only solves the disease problem of the project, but also provides experience and reference for similar projects.

Abstract:Improper disposal of arch dam foundation will induce crack of dam. The paper introduces that the remnant under foundation result in Strongmantlerock the crack of Chongqing Xiajiankou arch dam.
