However there are some additional features Zeni offers which are beyond that offered with Cadence. A great feature of the Zeni tools is the ability to completely generate a schematic from a CDL netlist. This is pretty amazing. You can give it a hierarchical CDL netlist and the tool will create all of the necessary symbols, leaf cell schematics and higher schematics automatically. We started a Calibre run on the same chip. Some people expected Calibre to run quickly on this design, but: the first thing we learned is we have to use the 64-bit Calibre. Now, I should say that the Calibre run that I started yesterday is still running. and as of now it has run for more than 20 hours and still has a long way to go.
