An offer is a promise made by the seller to supply goods on terms stated. There are two types of offers: firm offer and non-firm offer. A firm offer is irrevocable offer with engagement while a non-firm offer is the revocable offer without engagement. General speaking, most offers are non-firm offers with reservation words such as “The offer is subject to…”,“The offer holds good until…” A firm offer should satisfy the following conditions: 1. There should be no ambiguous words such as “about”, “reference price”; 2. The terms should be clearly and completely stated, which include the quality, the quantity, packing, price, shipment, payment, validity, etc.; 3.
