The Great Wall,located in North China , runs from the east to the west, covering 15 provinces and cities. It is over 6000 kilometers in length. The Great Wall was built in ancient China to keep out invaders . Most of the Great Wall we can see today was rebuilt in Ming dynasty. The Great Wall is the symbol of the Chinese nation and its culture. There is a famous Chinese saying: He who does not reach the Great Wall is not a true man.
