Unit 1 It’s My First Day
Goals:
Use business greetings and introductions
Follow basic clothing and hygiene rules in the workplace

Step One: lead-in
On the first day, we usually don’t know each other. So we must introduce ourselves to one another. The new teacher introduce him/her to the Ss first and then let some other Ss introduce them to the whole class using the formal and informal expressions.

Eg. I’m an English teacher in a vocational school.
I’m student of accountant in a vocational school.
Step two: activity 1
Four Ss from No.1 Vocational School are at their internship. Read theirself-introductions and find their workplaces.

Eg. I’m Fred. I’m a receptionist. I work in a hotel.
Ask Ss to describe the other pictures.
