Ltd., Wuhan 430061, China ) Abstract: Through the study of the interaction between passenger transportation facilities in passenger station of high speed railway and passengers in the waiting hall, based on Anylogic simulation software, elevated waiting hall environment simulation model for Chengdu East Railway Station was established. The model was used to count the parameters of passenger equipment, set the simulation parameters, simulate passenger waiting process in Chengdu East Railway Station during peak hours. The simulation results and pedestrian density map analysis showed that due to the short depth of waiting hall, the wicket passengers in line on both sides impeded the passenger fl ow access to the waiting hall, and caused traffi c congestions.
