The representative of the majority labor
Boxer
Boxer—The cart-horse who is the most sympathetically drawn character in the novel, He epitomizes(概括,包含) all of the best qualities of the exploited working classes: dedication, loyalty, and a huge capacity for labor.
Boxer
Boxer—He also, suffers from the working class’s major weaknesses: a naive trust in the good intentions of the intelligentsia(知识分子) and an inability to recognize even the most blatant (公然的) forms of political corruption. His two mottos are “I will work harder” and “Napoleon is always right”.
Boxer
He is exploited by the pigs as much or more than he had been by Mr. Jones, Boxer represents all of the invisible labor that undergirds(加强) the political drama being carried out by the elites(中坚分子).
Boxer
Boxer’s pitiful death at a glue(胶) factory dramatically illustrates the extent of the pigs’ betrayal. It may also, however, speak to the specific significance of Boxer himself: before being carted off, he serves as the force that holds Animal Farm together.
Squealer
Glib(油嘴滑舌的)
False

Corruption(腐败)
The representative of the government agency
Squealer
Squealer----the pig who spreads napoleon’s propaganda(宣传) among the other animals . Squealer justifies(证明合法) the pigs’ monopolization(垄断) of resources and spreads false statistics pointing to the farm’s success . Orwell uses squealer ‘s rhetoric(华丽的词藻) and language to twist the truth and to maintain social and political control.
Squealer
In Animal Farm, the silver-tongued pig Squealer abuses language to justify Napoleon’s actions and policies to the proletariat(工人阶级) by whatever means seem necessary. By complicating language unnecessarily, he confuses and intimidates(恐吓) the uneducated, In this latter strategy, he also employs jargon (“tactics, tactics”) as well as a baffling vocabulary of false and impenetrable(费解的) statistics,
