Aim of HRM Human Resource Management (HRM) aims at recruiting capable, flexible and loyal people, managing and rewarding their performance and developing key qualifications. A HRM expert has distinguished between hard and soft forms of HRM, typified by the Michigan and Harvard models respectively. 2. Necessity of Organizational Design The HRM System includes a unified job organization structure and a banded salary structure. The job organization and pay band salary structure incorporates the wide variety of work performed. The method in which jobs can be organized changes from a classification system consisting of over 1,000 job classes to a unified one of approximately 300 broad job Roles. 3. Job Organization Structure The job organization structure is generally arranged into Occupational Families, Career Groups and Roles.
