( 这是个省略句，省略了 I want) 2.This lamb s very good.=delicious 3.I like lamb ,but my husband doesn t .( 省 略了 like lamb) 4.What about some steak? （这里用了 some, 是希望得到对方的肯定回答） What about….?=How about….? （ … 怎么样？） 5.Give me that piece.=Give that piece to me. 6.A pound of mince. 半磅肉馅： half a pound of mince. 7.Do you want a chicken? 这里 chicken 当作一只整鸡来讲，所以是可数名词，相当于 chick. 8.My husband likes steak.( 划线部分提问） -What does your father like? 9.To tell you the truth….=To be honest with you…. 10.I don t like chicken, either . eg:I am not a nurse,either.
